100 days smarter in 3rd grade

We started our 100th day in 3rd grade by creating bridges with 100 popsicle sticks! The challenge was to create a bridge that could hold the most weight. A second part to the challenge was to also create a bridge that was the most aesthetically pleasing.

The winners were Ella, Alanna Grace, and Finley! Their bridge held over 1 kilogram 👏🏻

Next, I posed another 100th day challenge! Students had 7 task cards to work through. Each card had 4 numbers. They needed to use all 4 numbers and all operations (x, +,-, and /) to create an equation that equaled 100.

Even though third grade aged us a bit, we are thankful for these 100 days together. We had such a fun day being being 100 years old and celebrating being 100 days smarter 👵🏻👍🏻

We are the third grade tug of war CHAMPIONS!! Mr. Austin (my husband) came to play! He didn’t know he would leave soaking wet 😂
